Red Dead Redemption 2 viral video shows Jack Marston ‘impersonating’ Arthur Morgan

Without a doubt, Red Dead Redemption is one of the most popular games from Rockstar Games. It may not hold up, in terms of sales, for Grand Theft Auto, but again, nothing in the industry really does. It’s more than enough however that many fans hope to see Red Dead Redemption 3whether it’s Sadie Adler, Jack Marston or a whole new character one day.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead for Red Dead Redemption 2red death 3 isn’t on the foreseeable horizon, but there’s plenty of content between the two games to keep returning fans happy for a while. Of course, an awkward aspect of proofreading Red Dead Redemption 1 this is how he never really refers to Arthur Morgan. It’s understandable given that it didn’t really exist before. RDR2 was released, but a video went viral for showing Jack Marston “impersonating” Arthur Morgan.

It would be impossible, but it would be interesting to see if there was some John mannerism that connected to Arthur. Unfortunately, it is not the case. the Red Dead Redemption The video went viral because of this possibility – racking up nearly 140,000 views over 11 days from an otherwise small YouTube account, Melodic Satisfaction Productions – and it likely enticed many of those fans with its troll.

The short 5 second video, as seen above, just shows John Marston coughing. Of course, that doesn’t mean much. Red Dead Redemptionbut fans also know that Arthur Morgan dies in Red Dead Redemption 2 tuberculosis. It’s a disease that attacks the lungs, and there are several gameplay segments/scenes where Morgan coughs and struggles to catch his breath. In just 5 seconds, Melodic Satisfaction Productions managed to pull people in and deliver a powerful, dark and hilarious troll.

red death fans seem to be taking it in stride, however. One comment explains how this video could have played out a number of ways, but instead chose “a quiet little cough” to bring everyone back “like a punch in the stomach.” Others used the moment to joke about the possibility of Arthur Morgan being Jack Marston’s father, which obviously isn’t correlated but is a fun nod to in-game dialogue and suggestions that John may not be Jack’s father (he probably is, though).

Either way, this video probably got as many laughs as it did heartbreaks, and it’s truly a testament to how popular the franchise is. Video game characters die all the time, but only a few can leave a lasting impact like Arthur Morgan (and the death of John Marston before him).

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PC, PS4, Stadia and Xbox One.
