A clip of Oliver Tree beating up a fan at a recent performance in New York is making the rounds online.
TMZ reports that the singer had a gig at the Forgotten Runes NFT convention. At one point an enthusiastic fan jumped on stage and attempted to put his hat on Tree’s head, which is when he started beating the fan. Tree can be seen throwing the fan to the ground and swinging on top of him before security comes to break up the fight and removes the fan from the stage.
“Get the hell out of here and get the fucking asshole out of here!” The tree can be heard screaming into the mic. Apparently the cops weren’t called and the fan uttered a few words as he was taken off the show: “Don’t go on stage or you’ll get beat up by Oliver Tree.” It seems that Logan Paul was also present at the show.
Tree released their second studio album, cowboy tears this February, building on its 2020 debut The ugly is beautiful. Last year, the singer also collaborated with Lil Yachty on the song “Asshole,” a melodic pop track to which Tree sings the chorus. He also directed the music video: a version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory of Yachty. However, rather than Everlasting Gobstoppers, Tree tries to take one of the rapper’s many chains, leading to Yachty fighting back.
